Microsemi Unveils Solid State Driver Module for Worldwide Residential, Commercial and Industrial LED Light Fixtures

May 26, 2010 Microsemi Corporation announced the LXMG221W-0700034-D0, the new power supply module which supports 5 to 16 LEDs. Its universal input voltage range of 90 to 305V(AC) enables operation in 100V(AC), 120V(AC), 220-240V(AC) and 277V(AC), 50Hz and 60Hz systems.  

Fobsun releases LED horizon downlight replacement

May 21, 2010 FOBSUN ELECTRONICS LIMILTED releases their new LED Horizon Downlight replacement.
The Horizon Downlight with 90pcs high bright 3528 SMD LEDs as light source delivers a light intensity of 630 lumens. Lasting for over 50,000 hours, this LED lamp can be installed into existing G24 or E27 sockets.

Highly Efficient LED Driver from XP Power

May 21, 2010 XP Power announced the DLA series of AC input LED drivers with output power ranges of 50, 75, 100, 120 and 150 W. These units, rated at greater than 85% for the 50 Watt and up to 94% for the 150 W models, have a high power factor input ranging from 0.85 to 0.99 depending on the model. The drivers are available with either constant current or constant voltage outputs, with the constant voltage models offering the popular nominal outputs of +12, +18, +24, + 36, +42, +48, +54 or +105 VDC, and constant current models from 350 – 5950 mA. The output voltage of the constant current models is determined by the load.

LED Light Precisely Focused

May 21, 2010 Sharp, supported by optic specialists IdeaLED, DFO and LEDiL, will be introducing the appropriate optics designed especially for the DoubleDome, Zenigata, and MiniZeni series types. The bandwidth of the lenses suitable for Sharp LEDs is broad and ranges from selectively focused spotlights to broader spotlights with angles of radiation of about +/- 30°. Even lenses for lamps with three and more LEDs and different attachment methods – screwing, gluing, clipping – are available in the product lines from Sharp’s partners.

GlacialLight Launches T8 LED Tubes

May 20, 2010 GlacialTech Inc. is launching the T8 low-power Light Emitting Diode (LED) lighting tubes under the GlacialLight brand. The T8 LED tubes have power consumption with under 10W for a 2ft tube, and under 20W for a 4ft tube. The T8 identically suits a G13 socket as well as individually supports four AC input voltage specs, including 100-110V, 120V, 220-240V and 277V.

Edison Opto Introduces Five Different Angles of High Low Bay

May 19, 2010 Edison Opto introduced a new energy-saving product - LED high low bay module in 2009. The 50W EDIS low bay module is specified to replace 250W traditional low bay fixture; while 100W EDIS is equivalent 400W to high bay fixture.
In 2010 Edison Opto has developed four different angles of the high low bay, such as 40°, 60°, 90°, 120° and the floodlight.

Lighting Orient Releases 140W Outdoor LED Flood Lights with 105 lm/W LED Chips

May 17, 2010 Lighting Orient announce the launch of 140W high power LED flood lights with 105lm/w LED chips. Maintain efficiency of LED is about 90lm/w, which is 9 times higher than efficiency of incandescent bulbs. It can also replace 400W high pressure sodium lamps. IP rating is IP65.

Osram Sylvania Introduces Brightest LED Replacement for 60-Watt Bulb

May 17, 2010 OSRAM SYLVANIA has introduced the brightest LED replacement for traditional 60W incandescent bulbs. The dimmable, mercury-free SYLVANIA ULTRA LED A-line 12W bulb is an energy-efficient alternative to conventional incandescent, halogen and compact fluorescent (CFL) bulbs. The LED bulb is part of the ULTRA High Performance Series, SYLVANIA's second generation LED retrofit product line.

Bridgelux and Molex Win Top Lightfair 2010 Award for Helieon Sustainable Light Module
