Digital Lumens Releases New Intelligent Lighting Systems
Aug 17, 2011
The product line for Digital Lumens has grown to include the new 15,000-lumen Intelligent Light Engines (ILEs) for highbay and midbay applications. The company, leader in intelligent lighting systems, designed the current system for use in industrial buidlings with high ceilings or other open indoor spaces, increasing light by over 50%. This new system uses intelligent lighting programming to increase energy efficiency up to 90%.
The company has also unveiled an updated LightRules, the software behind the intelligent lighting that will easily adapt to changes made by overseeing industrial staff. New changes to the program were designed to make it easier to use for large industrial buildings, such as a calendar view to schedule lighting. Other changes were the "ability to wirelessly move lights" between networks, several methods of data reporting such as csv spreadsheet files, and improved system diagnostics tools.
Vice President of Digital Lumens states that the reasons for the upgrades to the software and the new systems is to suit the needs of the growing businesses the company works with. As the facilities grow larger and more lighting is needed, the company has provided the solution in a way that saves more energy than before.
These new lights are designed to replace 400W HID, HPS, or HIF highbay lighting fixtures.
