New Patent Awarded to Intematix's ChromaLit™ Collection
Aug 24, 2011 The sixth patent for remote phosphor LED lighting designs was awarded to Intematix Corporation, solidifying the company's position as a leader in the phosphor intellectual property branch of the LED industry. Intematix currently is a developer of new "patented phosphor materials and components for high-quality LED lighting," and the most recent patent is the fourth the company has received this year. Moreover, in addition to Intematix's six patents in the U.S., the corporation also has 85 other patents pending worldwide.
The award-winning ChromaLit™ collection combines phosphor composite with a blue LED light to yield a product for indoor and outdoor uses. All of the products in the new collection offer LED manufacturers "unparalleled design freedom, more efficient manufacturing processes, exceptional light quality" and can increase performance by 30%.
In the early 2000s, the company began researching and developing remote phophor technology and after a decade has commercialized components earlier this year.
