Sharp Remotely Controlled LED Light Bulb: User Review
Aug 25, 2011 A new dimmable and color (or light warmth) controllable LED light bulbs with the possibility of remote control have been released by Sharp in June of this year. It is always most interesting to wait and see how the product will be accepted by the end users.Recently Katie Fehrenbacher at www.gigaom.com has published her own test of the Sharp LED bulb with remote control.
She comments on the nice looking, slim and easy to use control, yet notes that it only works if you position yourself at the right distance (no more than 3 m) and at right angle (120 degrees). The nice things about the lamp are that it is a plug-and-play version that fits right into the regular lamp socket and there is no immediate need in remote control unless you really desire to change the brightness or the light tone. Overall it is a very positive review if you are willing to pay the premium price for such a product.
