Lumenpulse Receives #17 Rank on PROFIT HOT 50

Aug 31, 2011
Today Lumenpulse Inc., an innovator of LED-based lighting solutions for diverse applications, announced its new ranking of #17 in the 12th annual PROFIT HOT 50 ranking. This measure is of Canada's Top New Growth Companies, and the overall rankings of these young firms are determined by two-year revenue growth. These rankings will be posted in the October issue of PROFIT magazine and at

Its youth marked by when it was founded in 2006, Lumenpulse's rise to a leadership position within the multi-billion dollar LED industry stems from the growing demand for its products. The high-quality LED maker has also just finished a $16 million funding round that will go towards entering the global market and to continue growing its product line. Lumenpulse has already been the go-to company in projects like BC Place Stadium (Vancouver), Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum, the Yale-New Haven Hospital atrium and BMW US Headquarters in New York.

Companies like Lumenpulse who have been named in the PROFIT HOT 50 have shown "all the traits that underpin business success" explains editor PROFIT editor Ian Portsmouth. In addition to those traits, Portsmouth also notes these companies have "achieved enviable growth rates despite a shaky economy."

Lumenpulse is honored to win the award and to continue "the trend of product awards wins and high profile customer wins" since the company began says François-Xavier Souvay, Founder, President and CEO of Lumenpulse.
