SavWatt to Debut P2i Nano Tech LEDs at IFA Berlin 2011
Aug 31, 2011
With the advent of SavWatt's new water resistant LED lights using P2i Nano technology, the company announced this Tuesday that the model will be displayed at IFA, the world's largest trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances. IFA 2011 will take place in Berlin from September 2 to 7.
As an exclusive worldwide licensee of the P2i Nano technology SavWatt plans to use its advantage in the industry. This translates to the availability of the new technology to commercial customers as early as the first quarter of 2012. At first, the Baltimore USA plant will be the sole distributor but this will eventually extend to SavWatt centers in Poland and Spain.
The benefits of the P2i technology are protection for LED lights from salt, fog, and other harsh conditions, which will lend to a longer life for the LEDs. The exclusive ownership of SavWatt over this technology is expected to make the company's outdoor LEDs "industry leaders and market changers." (Miller Mays, CEO of SavWatt Europe, Ltd)
