A Series of New Big Chip LED Based Luminaires Unveiled at PLASA 2011
Sep 13, 2011 Luminus Devices Inc. had its newest Big Chip LEDs with one color and color mixing capabilities presented at the PLASA 2011, UK. PLASA 2011 is an internation trade show dedicated to the latest pro audio, AV, lighting stage engineering and systems integration technology. The Big Chip LEDs were used in a series of LED entertainment light fixtures manufactured by i-Pix Digital Light (UK).
Luminus' SBM-160 has been used in the i-Pix developed BB series of lights - BB1, BB2, BB4 and BB7. It allowed achieving four times better light output with the same power consumption level as in the previous version.
In addition i-Pix has launched several other new products, such as Beamlight and Satellite Mk II. The come in RGB, white or UV capabilities and are characterized by improved optics homogeneity.
