Intematix Wins GoingGreen Global 200 Award
Sep 14, 2011
Intematix Corporation today announced its recognition by AlwaysOn as one of the GoingGreen Global 200 winners. As a leader in the field of patented phosphor technology for LED lighting, the company can now add the title of a leader in developing markets. Receiving the award signifies the company is considered a contender in new areas in the industry, based on five criteria: innovation, market potential, commercialization, stakeholder value, and media buzz.
This year's list was challenging to compile based on the recent high competition created by emerging greentech companies, all demonstrating great market progress. Based on nominations from peripheral groups (greentech industry insiders, journalists, and bankers), the awards were determined over a three-month period.
Intematix develops phosphor products meant LED SSL applications demanding quality and reliability. The company's patented phosphor technology provides vivid color to the LEDs using it, consistency, uniformity, longer lifetime, and energy efficiency. Currently, the company has 71 issued patents and 274 patents pending worldwide that apply to various forms of lighting applications.
