Fortimo modules are intended for the lighting applications that require high-quality light and the ‘design’ factor. These modules will allow for sleek designs of wall-mounted luminaires, pendant lighting, floor-standing luminaires and desk lamps for home and other decorative applications and can even be integrated into lighting solutions in shelf displays, cabinets and other furniture solutions. “The decorative modules will allow luminaire designers to make a statement within home and hospitality type of applications and deliver high quality light simultaneously. The compact size of the modules gives designers maximum freedom to design a wide variety of luminaires”, according to Marius Schlatmann, Marketing Manager for Philips OEM Lighting Solutions for Home & Hospitality. The Philips Fortimo LED decorative modules use white LUXEON LEDs. The collimator lens ensures perfectly mixed light, resulting in uniform colours and good colour consistency.
