Encelium Technologies Will Present at Greenbuild 2011, Toronto

Sep 21, 2011 Encellium Technologies has announced that on October 4-6, 2011 in will take part in the Grenbuild 2011 Exhibit in Toronto as well as conduct a tour at Rogers Centre. According to company's press releaseTerry Mocherniak will be presenting Encellium's innovative energy management and lighting control systems. Greenbuild event serves as the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) first Greenbuild outside of the United States. At the Expo, attendees will get an insider's look at Encelium's new Polaris 3D™, its next generation of lighting control software for the company's Energy Control SystemTM (ECS).   "With each product innovation, Encelium takes energy management to a new level,” said Rick Schuett, vice president of Encelium. “Polaris is a web-based application, providing an industry first 360-degree, three-dimensional view of a property’s lighting energy use. With the click of a mouse, users can easily identify areas and trends of lighting inefficiencies throughout a property. That type of control over lighting is unprecedented.”   Encelium plans on demonstrating the capabilities of their lighting controls by inviting customers to tour the Rogers Centre, one of the world’s premier sports and entertainment centers, on October 5 at 3 p.m. The Rogers Centre is equipped with Encelium’s ECS and is a prime example of how a facility-wide lighting control system can result in major savings. The Rogers Centre has achieved energy savings ranging from 56% to 79% throughout the building resulting in energy cost savings of approximately $303,000 annually.   Because of the company’s significant contributions to advances in green building, Encelium has been chosen as a featured firm for GreenTech@Greenbuild, a new event designed to create awareness of emerging disruptive technologies. Terry Mocherniak, Encelium’s co-founder and chief operating officer, is among the expert speakers presenting at GreenTech@Greenbuild, which will take place on October 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel.   ECS is the most advanced lighting control solution for commercial buildings on the market. It has been proven to cut lighting energy expenditures by 50 to 75 percent and significantly reduce CO2 emissions. Since the company's founding in 2001, ECS has been installed in more than 40 million square feet of commercial space across North America and Europe. The company has experienced tremendous growth, posting nearly a 100-percent annual sales increase during the last two years.   For more information on GreenBuild 2011, please visit www.greenbuildexpo.org.
