Lumenpulse Releases Lumenbeam™ LBX Pendant

Sep 22, 2011
Lumenpulse™ Inc., architectural LED-based lighting solutions leader in commercial, institutional, and urban applications, has released into the market its Lumenbeam™ LBX (Xlarge) Pendant. The LED fixture is now available and is the superior in efficiency and resulting energy savings to its HID equivalent.

The LBX Pendant may seem familiar because its design is like others in the Lumenbeam series. In fact, the fixture design matches the Lumenbeam™ LBX projector's, a winner of the 2011 LFI Innovation Award. Along with the "sleek and consistent look and feel" of the LBX Pendant's outside, the luminaire also provides and equally "uniform illumination." This includes areas with ceilings reaching 100 feet, all while using 120 to 277 volts.

Part of the versatile design are the different combinations the LBX Pendant can be mounted, adaptable to what the consumer requires. Different combinations are possible from the varying stem lengths and mounting options available, multiple optics choices, and additional line of accessories for the user to structure the lighting for their specific uses.

This LED is like the rest in the series, designed to be low-maintenance even in cases when a part may need to be replaced. Compared to HID lights, each part is individually replaceable should anything happen, instead of requiring the entire fixture to be removed. Depending on the design of the installation, customers can attain up to 80% reduction in maintenance costs, as well as up to 70% energy savings. The most notable quality of this LED light is its longevity, with an "unmatched L70 lifetime of 120,000 hours...the longest in the industry."
