Konica Minolta Announces New OLED Lighting Brand - Symfos
Oct 10, 2011 OLED-info reports beginning of the new next-generation lighting brand Symfos from Konica Minolta. The first Symfos product is the OLED-010K OLED lighting panel sample kit that includes four OLED panels, external driver box and an AC adapter. The sample kit is available for shipping.
The OLED panels utilize phosphorescent emitters (KM is using Universal Display's PHOLED technology) and produces 45 lm/W. Oled-info notes that this is the same panel that Philips is offering (as the Lumiblade Plus)and, in fact, Philips is producing this panel for Konica Minolta, as was announced in July 2011. The price for the OLED-010K kit has not been announced, but Philips is selling each Lumiblade Plus panel for €120.
