New 360° LED Beacon Light from Magnalight

Oct 11, 2011 Larson Electronics' Magnalight has announced the addition of an LED beacon light designed to provide 360° of superior signal generation. The new LEDB-4 LED Beacon provides a full 360 degrees of visibility with 18 integrated LEDs and a specially designed Fresnel lens. Designed to be permanently mounted, this unit includes the necessary mounting hardware to help make installation simple and fast.

The new beacon light has waterproof lamp housing made of aluminum. The internal electronics are fully potted for superior moisture and vibration resistance. The lens is impact and shock resistant, resulting in a unit that is highly durable and able to withstand the rigors of commercial and industrial applications. This strobe light produces a triple flash pattern that is easily visible at extended distances and provides an effective signal for applications including security, military, law enforcement and utility or marine operations. This unit can operate on voltages ranging from 9 to 32VDC and is available in 120-220VAC configurations for use with standard AC power sources as well. Beacon color options include Red, Blue, White, Green, and Amber, allowing this light to be used in a wide variety of applications from law enforcement and security to industrial manufacturing. A permanent mounting system provides secure installation and a small 2.8"W x 5.2" H size allows placement in mounting locations with limited room.

"Operators are constantly looking for 360 degree LED beacons with permanent and magnetic mounting options and the LEDB-4 LED beacon meets that need at under $90 per unit," said Rob Bresnahan with Larson Electronics' "Equipped with a 16 foot coil cord, cigarette plug and 5 year warranty, this LED beacon is ideal for operators that need bright, durable 360 degree warning lights.
