Magnalight.com Releases New Compact Combination Mount LED Beacon Light

Oct 10, 2011
Larson Electronics introduced through its website, Magnalight.com, the new combination mount LED beacon light, both compact and with a powerful signal. Equipped with 32 LEDs to create an intense signal, the Magnalight 9200-LED-S-M Suction/Magnetic Mount Beacon provides the most secure and versatile temporary mounting possible. As the name suggests, the light's ability to mount securely is due to a combination suction cup and magnetic base. Its cigarette plug adapter and mobility make this product ideal for security, law enforcement, utilities and commercial applications.

The 9200 is capable of attaching to smooth surfaces, like glass, in addition to metallic surfaces (for example, vehicle roofs and equipment railings). Its two 50 lbs grip magnets beneath two high strength suction cups will grip to any smooth surface, like fiberglass, glass, and aluminum, and is not limited to just ferrous metal surfaces. In order to protect the finishes of the vehicles the light may be mounted on, felt protects the magnetic mounts of this LED light unit. The bright and powerful light produced by the 32 one watt LEDs generate just that amount of watts and a strong 10 joules per flash signal, perceivable even in poor visibility conditions. Given that the 9200 is classified as a Class 1 beacon, these qualities match the ranking as a producer of a brightest signal possible. Meanwhile, it also requires little power, drawing a low 2.7 amps on a 12 volt electrical system, and can be run over long periods of time without problems with draining the battery. The model's "heavy duty construction...amber protective lens, and water resistant housing" make it ideal for work in professional applications.
