Larson Electronics Introduces Portable LED Light Stick Model
Oct 18, 2011
Larson Electronics' Magnalight.com has introduced its WL-LED-12-M rechargeable trouble light, the latest in the company's durable and versatile LED lighting. The LED's high light output and magnetic mounting system enable it to be a portable industrial grade task light.
The light stick's design of rechargeable portability and magnetic mounting make it possible for the LED solution to be used anywhere. 60 LEDs incorporated into the design, powered by a Ni/Hm battery, can produce enough light to cover an area 25 ft long by 20 ft wide. Meanwhile, the battery life permits use of over four hours on a single charge.
Impact, shock and vibration resistant housing sustain a durable model that may be used both in indoor and outdoor applications. Another long-lasting quality of the model is the LED's 100,000 hour lifetime rating, leading to years of use. The magnetic grip system consists of two built-in 20 lbs grip magnets, capable of attaching to any ferrous metallic surface, a characteristic ideal for hands-free automotive and work applications that need effective illumination. However, predrilled holes that are included in the mount make permanent of semi-permanent installation an option as well, though the model's fully wireless and portable construction also enable use anywhere.
