J.W. Speaker Released New Portable LED Scene Light

Oct 25, 2011 J.W. Speaker’s released new LED Luminaire Model 60.  According to press release this portable LED scene light has been built from the ground up to meet all of your worksite lighting needs. Seven lights in one, the Model 60 can go from a powerful handheld scene light all the way up to a tripod-based stationary scene light in no time at all!

Starting with the light source, J.W. Speaker has incorporated a bank of 30 high intensity LEDs which deliver a massive 3,000 raw Lumens to create a bright, white light that’s easy on the eyes.  The Model 60 incorporates a range of settings that include both high and low light output as well as a flash mode for emergency situations.  Inside the light head you’ll find a floodlight filter that converts the powerful beam into a soft wide spread beam for general purpose work.  The filter is applied via simply turning a knob on the side of the unit.

Reminiscent of a Swiss Army Knife, the Model 60 accomplishes its compact size by integrating many of its components into the cavity of the light.  The tripod stabilizer legs fold out from the sides of the base and enable the light to be used even in extremely windy conditions. The rotating light head sits atop a variable-height mast which extends up to a maximum of 6 feet via reinforced fiberglass poles which conveniently stow away inside the base.  The unit even comes standard with an integrated charging port for on-board vehicle or outlet-based recharging.  Applications such as mining, construction and forestry will appreciate the superior strength and rigidity provided by the durable outer housing and drop-resistant internal steel chassis.

Because of its incredibly low power consumption, the Model 60 will run on internal batteries for up to 8 hours on full power.  In sign mode, it can last for over 240 hours of continuous use!  Recharging time is just 4 hours using the built-in 12-24V vehicle charger, or 6 hours using the optional 120-240V AC charging unit.  The Model 60 carries a 2-year limited warranty and comes in two configurations: standard or remote-control-enabled. The remote control version allows operation of one or more units and allows you to relay the remote control signal from one unit to the next to cover long distances.

The JW Speaker Model 60 is a highly versatile, powerful light source that suits a wide range of industries and trades including police and emergency services.  Additional information on the Model 60 portable LED scene light can be found on J.W.
