Project: NRJ Paris television and radio production studio
Jun 30, 2009
In its new studios, NRJ Paris has installed a lighting system based totally on LEDs, which offer several advantages compared to conventional light sources, including high luminous yield, low power consumption, long duration and minimum maintenance.
Other exclusive characteristics of the systems installed, like the high quality of RGB color generation, precise control over color temperature and the total absence of flicker, are fundamental elements for correct television shooting.
Installation director: Jean-Pierre Joubert.
All lighting components were supplied by DTS Illuminazione, Italian manufacturer specializing in LED architectural, moving head projectors.
The flexibility of installation of the MR16 and HELIOS systems makes it possible to obtain different types of lighting inside the various sets. Uniform flush lighting of a large background wall provided by a series of MR16 WHITE set into the ceiling. General ambient lighting created with MR16 RGB mounted in dedicated DTS par cans. The MR16 FULL COLOUR and HELIOS FULL COLOUR are used as directional lights to light up NRJ staff and studio guests.
