Luxeon Altilon delivers 850 lm and 60 MNits at 1000mA for automotive lighting

Sep 8, 2009 LUXEON Altilon is engineered to simplify optical design and tested to withstand extreme temperatures required for high and low beam forward lighting, daytime running lights, static bending lights, and position lamps.

LUXEON Altilon is available in two configurations, a 1x4 chip and a 1x2 chip solution.

Luxeon Altilon in form factor 1x2 (2 LED dies) is rated for 300-425 lm

Already implemented in the Audi R8 for low and high beam functions, LUXEON Altilon can deliver more than 850 lumens and 60 MNits at 1000mA and is AEC-Q101C qualified. The color temperature is 5600K and conforms to both ECE and SAE specifications.  

LUXEON Altilon Offers:

  • Over 850 lumens at 1000 mA and 60 MNits at 1000 mA
  • Lower forward lighting power load: 7.0W and 13.7W
  • Optimized to meet global cut-off specifications
  • Unobstructed access to emitting surface
  • Fiducials for optical and thermal alignment
  • 130°C maximum case temperature: 1.5°K/W (1x4)
  • Optional space lug lead configuration
  • White color space conforms to both ECE and SAE specifications
  • AEC-Q101 Qualified
