Traxon's IP66 wall washer series for demanding environments

Sep 9, 2009 Traxon Technologies announced Shield XB range, suitable for extreme environments like snow, ice, and desert heat as well as heavy rain. The Shield range comprises the Wall Washer Shield XB-18 and XB-36 as well as Liner Shield XB- 18 and XB-27. The XB Shield range is IP66 rated .

A built-in heat sensor provides thermal safety, which will automatically reduce the light output if the temperature limit is exceeded. Available in RGB and Dynamic White, the Shield XB series features a wide range of available optics, giving flexibility to meet customer needs for both wide spread and narrow beams. In addition, Traxon's innovative Dynamic White option allows to adjust and to optimize the color temperature of the white lighting fixtures to changing ambient conditions and usage, representing a perfect solution for architectural lighting applications. The combination of stylish design with outstanding performance renders the Traxon Shield XB range a reliable solution for any outdoor application where rich washing effects or accent lighting are required.

The Shield XB range is compatible with Traxon’s TX Connect XB universal connector system. The system allows full flexibility in lighting installations, enabling combination of different TX XB fixtures without tedious adapt cables. A straightforward range of TX Connect XB elements ensures simple wiring of TX LED Fixtures, TX Control, and TX Power units for a fully integrated lighting solution.
