Osram reports developement of low-profile large transparent OLEDs

Thanks to new technology these organic light emitting diodes do not need separate encapsulation and can be made incredibly thin in any layout.

Neo-Neon gets five 31x2-inch CRIUS systems from Aixtron

Oct 22, 2009 Neo-Neon International Ltd., based in Guang Dong, PR China, the LED decorative lighting manufacturer, received five Close Coupled Showerhead CRIUS systems in the 31x2" wafer configuration from Aixtron. These systems were delivered at the end of 2008 and will be used for the development and production of ultra-high brightness (UHB) blue/green LEDs.
